Each card has a simple message on one side and a colorful image representing that message on the other. A card with the word HUG shows a toddler embracing his brother on the opposite side, while the card with BE GENTLE features a little girl lovingly petting her dog. Included are 26 concepts, including SHARE, CARE FOR THE EARTH, CELEBRATE OTHERS, and many more. The 26 flashcards are connected with a plastic ring that can be removed to allow kids to sort the cards during free play. The large cards (5 by 2.85 inches) and sturdy material are ideal for the little fingers of curious babies and toddlers.

Biographical Noteduopress labs is the creative team, led by Mauricio Velázquez de León, responsible for writing and developing dozens of books and games. Recent titles include The Belly Sticker Book; and the SmartFlash and TummyTime series, 100 Pablo PicassosMy Fridge; and My First Lift-the-Flap Animal Book. Mauricio has written for Lonely Planet, Chouette, PowerKids Press, and the magazines Gourmet and Saveur. He resides wherever he can find a good wi-fi connection and strong coffee, mostly in the eastern United States.

Héctor Borlasca was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he currently resides with his wife Silvana and daughter Micaela. His work has appeared in advertising campaigns, magazines, newspapers, and textbooks in several countries including Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, China, Spain, Colombia, and Mexico. In 2002, Héctor decided to pursue the American market and during his first visit to NY, he landed a series of books for Scholastic. While not illustrating, Héctor enjoys playing soccer and perfecting his tango.
