Additional Notes

From The Publisher*Part two of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of five. Featuring exclusive bonus material from the Douglas Adams archives, and an introduction from Monty Python star, Terry Jones. Following the smash-hit sci-fi comedy The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe is the second part in Douglas Adams' multi-media phenomenon and cult classic series. If you've done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off with breakfast at Milliways, the Restaurant at the end of the Universe? Which is exactly what Arthur Dent and the crew of the Heart of Gold plan to do. There's just the small matter of escaping the Vogons, avoiding being taken to the most totally evil world in the Galaxy, and teaching a space ship how to make a proper cup of tea. And did anyone actually make a reservation? Follow Arthur Dent's galactic (mis)adventures in the rest of the trilogy in five parts: Life, the Universe and Everything; So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish; and Mostly Harmless.
Biographical NoteDouglas Adams created all the various and contradictory manifestations of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: radio, novels, TV, computer game, stage adaptations, comic book and bath towel. He lectured and broadcast around the world and was a patron of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and Save the Rhino International. Douglas Adams was born in Cambridge, UK and lived with his wife and daughter in Islington, London, before moving to Santa Barbara, California, where he died suddenly in 2001. In addition to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, he is also the author of the Dirk Gently novels: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul, and the unfinished The Salmon of Doubt. Terry Jones is a Welsh actor, writer, comedian, screenwriter, and film director known for the Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, and Life of Brian.
