Biographical Note

BARBARA REID is one of Canada's premier picture book author and illustrators. Her brilliant Plasticine art has graced the pages of over 20 picture books, including the Governor General's Award-winning The Party. Barbara is a member of the Order of Ontario and Order of Canada, and in 2016, she was named the Honorary Chair of Family Literacy Day. She lives in Toronto with her husband, photographer Ian Crysler.
