From The Booth

Veteran Canadian documentarian Ron Mann (Comic Book Confidential, Grass) takes us to Rick Kelly’s Greenwich Village shop where for decades he has been making custom guitars from repurposed wood collected from historic Manhattan buildings. His shop is rich with history, rife with tales of the likes of Dylan and Hendrix and the film features a guest list that includes Lenny Kaye, Charlie Sexton, Bill Frisell and even Jim Jarmusch. The film is also an homage to the spirit, determination and craftsmanship required to survive in an age of gentrification.
