From The Booth

Adapted from Meg Wolitzer’s novel, The Wife takes us into the world of public prizes and personal secrets as Joe Castleman (Jonathan Pryce) and his wife Joan (Glenn Close) travel to Sweden, where Joe is to receive the Nobel Prize for literature. Along for the trip is their son David (Max Irons), frustrated with living in his father’s shadow, and a wannabe biographer (Christian Slater) looking to dig up history on the newly-lauded Mr Castleman. The performances are all top notch and as domestic dramas with dirty little secrets go, you won’t do much better. Highly Recommended.
