First Baptist Church, the Refugee Sponsorship Forum and Students Offering Welcome of the University of Guelph are proud to host a fundraising screening of Salam Neighbour, a documentary that follows two Americans to the edge of war, just seven miles from the Syrian border, to live among 85,000 uprooted refugees in Jordan’s Za’atari camp. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Dr. Tom Lusis, President of the Board of Directors for Immigrant Services and Walaa Allaf, a former Syrian refugee. Proceeds to support the work of the Refugee Sponsorship Forum. All ticket sales CASH ONLY at the door. Admission is by suggested donation of $15.00. Regular Dinner & Movie pricing will NOT apply.
