Join us for a unique afternoon of film and conversation with musician, radio host and storyteller, Tom Allen.
Tom Allen (host of CBC Music's About Time) produced this adaptation of Fred Bosworth's book, Last of the Curlews.
The reluctant birder and grieving widower Grandpa brings his equally reluctant teenaged granddaughter Dearie on a pilgrimage to see what may indeed be the last curlew. It is a journey that will change both their lives forever.
The film combines music, dance and story, starring RH Thomson and Liyou Abere, filmed in the beautiful surroundings of Mulmar Township and Collingwood.
