For Milton (Ben Kingsley), a widower, living in small town Pennsylvania, life is comfortably routine until a UFO lands in his back yard and he meets the occupant. As Milton and a couple neighbours debate how best to proceed with their new ET friend, the film gently and quite comically pokes fun at our society's approach to senior citizens, aliens (illegal?) and the unnecessary involvement of government and police forces. Sneaking through the media barrage of summer blockbusters, Jules is a Highly Recommended, quiet summer comedy.
