JAYU presents: Standing on the Line, a doc about homophobia in sports

 

JAYU is coming to Guelph for the local premiere of Standing On The Line. A powerful documentary about homophobia in sports. Through a series of touching personal stories, the film explores the impact of overcoming prejudice in the hopes of changing things for the athletes of tomorrow.


Don't miss this special screening, followed by a Skype Q&A with director Paul-Émile d'Entremont.

This is a Pay What You Can event.

This film is co-presented with Guelph Pride and the NFB.

Accessibility:
Venue is not physically accessible yet. The Bookshelf is currently installing an elevator and renovating to become physically accessible however, this project will not be completed until mid- to-late October. Film is open captioned, relaxed screening environment and an active listener on site.
