Dear Community Members,
We are now four months into our Elevate Guelph campaign and thanks to your generous donations and active communications to friends and family, we have made great strides toward our $100,000 fundraising goal.
Our goal is to enable everyone to participate in our cultural community. Building an elevator, accessible washrooms and wheelchair access to the Bookshelf Cinema, Greenroom and eBar will invite our entire community to participate.
While the construction is well underway, we want to ramp up our fundraising efforts. To date, we have raised over $12,000 through our GoFundMe campaign, with another $10,000 collected in-person at The Bookshelf. Through these generous donations, combined with commitments made through Kim and Stu Lang ($50,000) and an anonymous community member ($20,000), we are very close to our final target!
Two things you can do to help Elevate Guelph:
1) Please join us and other community members as we gather at the Bookshelf on Saturday October 5, between 2-4pm for Customer Appreciation Day. Take this opportunity to see the construction progress in action and see how your generous donations are already hard at work!
2) Share our GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/f/ElevateGuelph) widely through your networks!
Thank you again for your commitments to Elevate Guelph, and see you at the Bookshelf on October 5th!
