Girls Like Me the story of a girl named Shay Summers who meets a boy online. She doesn’t want to meet him in person because she’s worried that he’ll judge her based on her looks. Shay doesn’t have a perfect figure but she is an amazing writer, she’s funny, and has a great personality. Will she get over her fear of judgement and meet this boy? I love the way this book is written. It is like reading poetry and a bunch of texts at the same time. You feel like you are in Shay’s mind and you get to know and understand her perspective. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a story with a bit of romance and learning about people overcoming fear.
