I was totally entranced while watching the movie Queen of the Sun. Like everyone else I knew that bees were in trouble and rumours of cell phone radiation and mysterious viruses were on the list of suspects. But what I didn't know was how corporatized beekeeping has become and how monoculture agriculture has stressed bees to their limit. This is an inspiring movie filled with articulate prophets, the beekeepers, praising the beautiful and monumental ethos of the bee.
