Guelph author/songwriter/activist James Gordon has TWO books to launch at once!
His novel The Ark of the Oven Mitt was a finalist for last year's Stephen Leacock Humour Award, but the pandemic prevented a proper in-person launch. He's already followed it up with The Highway and I, a non-fiction book of road tales from his long career in showbiz and early readers agree that this second book is even more humourous that the novel!
Both of James' books share a unique feature: a QR code that leads you to audio tracks of songs that follow the story.
Join us in the Bookshelf Cinema on Wednesday, March 29th for this special double launch. James will be reading from both books and sharing some of the songs as well - a delightful way to spend an evening!
