In honour of the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, the Bookshelf encourages everyone to be continually educated by and actively supportive of Indigenous communities and culture.

It is easy to feel paralyzed by anger, sadness and shame at Canada's treatment of Indigenous peoples. It is difficult - but essential - to find ways forward, to create space for change.

There are countless ways to be part of changing the truth of our present and future.
