Aurora Rosato Novaresi Nebbiolo 2018

CANOVA PROFILE

The Azienda Agricola Ca 'Nova was founded in 1996, when the Ca’ Nova family decided to revive their charming eighteenth-century farmhouse located in the enchanting setting of the Golf Club of Bogogno. At the foot of the spectacular Monte Rosa Mountain, on the reliefs of the Novara hills, in the heart of Piedmont, Cristiano and his father Vittorio have planted ten acres of vineyards in a few years, and built a modern winery. Today Ca’ Nova’s philosophy is uncomplicated, aiming to produce wines based on the combination of the quality of the grapes grown in their vineyards and the care and attention put into winemaking.

WHY WE LOVE THEM

We make it no secret, we adore Nebbiolo in all forms. It is such an amazingly complex grape that takes on the expressions of its surrounding area so elegantly. When we heard that one of our favourite Nebbiolo wine makers was working with Ca’Nova in the Ghemme territory of Piemonte, we were immediately curious. Cristiano is a master with Northern Piemonte Nebbiolo and his work at Ca’Nova is no exception. Add the passion of Ca’Nova’s proprietor Giada Ca’Nova and you have a perfect recipe for beautiful wine.
