When The Bookshelf decided to close its doors to the public on March 14th, there was a lot of uncertainty about how our business would manage the transition. Contact with our book-loving community has evolved away from in-store conversations and event hosting to an emphasis on website engagement, social media, and the good ol' telephone. The response has been nothing short of amazing!

To those in Guelph and beyond - you have great taste in books and it is clear that you have been doing a lot of reading during these unforgettable times. The next stage of our Covid-19 evolution also has to do with taste.

We are thrilled to announce that the Bookshelf will now be offering same-day delivery of Organized Crime wines to the Guelph community. To begin, we will be offering a Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Red Blend (Pipe Down), and a Pinot Noir.

All of our drivers are smart serve certified and will be checking government-issued ID at the door to complete wine deliveries. As an added bonus, complimentary unpopped movie popcorn will be included with your wine. We hope that this gesture helps to recreate (a little of) the movie-going experience that we offered in our cinema!

We look forward to meeting, and chatting about books, movies, and music again in the future! Until then, feel free to give us a call or check out the latest books, articles, and other wonderful items on our website and social media.
